Release Data Analyst

Location: Greensboro, NC

Market America, a product brokerage and Internet marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing, is seeking an experienced Release Data Analyst  in our IT environment.

 

Position Summary:

This position is part of the Release Management team and focuses on our environments Release Management, as well as other IT Service Management, processes.  This position has a strong focus on the collecting, analyzing and publishing IT KPIs. The employee will collaborate with colleagues and teams to identify and document Incidents and Problems, ensuring high priority releases are expedited through our environments.  This position will be expected to actively identify risks and work towards identifying and implementing risk mitigation solutions. 

 

Experience with ITIL and KPI analysis highly preferred.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Participates in the release process to ensure effective planning, implementation, and validation for multiple applications and platforms.

•Directs, organizes, and manages activities for collecting and publishing IT KPIs.

•Identifies IT metrics and builds and implements processes to collect, measure and publish relevant data.

•Analyzes KPIs, identifies trends, makes recommendations on challenges which need to be addressed.

•Communicates Incident details to IT team.  Ensures company Incident processes are being followed.

•Manages the Problem Management platform, identifying and documenting issues still requiring root cause analysis

•Ensures all company changes are following the SDLC and Change Management process defined.

•Communicates Incident management status, issues, risks, and escalation to management.

•Ensures the IT Teams follow established IT Service Management processes.

•Reports on the effectiveness of IT Service Management processes

•Participates in the establishment, improvement, documentation, communication, and enforcement of IT Service Management processes including Release, Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

•Supports the annual strategic goals of the Release Management Team

•Recommends new processes, procedures, and tools to improve and increase IT Service Management efficiency.

•Collaborates with all necessary parties to keep them abreast of project deliverables.

•Responsible for all documentation pertaining to this position and its objectives.

•Complies with company policies and procedures.

•Performs other duties as needed.

 

Education and Experience:

•Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.

•Four years of experience in IT Service Management.

•Previous experience collecting, publishing and analyzing IT KPIs

•ITIL Foundation certification, Intermediate certifications preferred.

•Or combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.

•The ability to stay calm under pressure

•Strong English speaking, writing, and reading comprehension;
