Digital Marketing Project Manager

Location: Greensboro, NC

Market America, a Global Product Brokerage and Internet Marketing company that specializes in One-to-One Marketing, is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Project Manager to augment our Marketing Team.

Position Summary: The Digital Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our digital marketing projects, from initiation to completion. The role includes creating and managing marketing calendars, managing local and global campaigns, executing special projects, coordinating with teams internally and externally, and continuously monitoring and reporting on campaign performance.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain the marketing calendar.
  • Be responsible for end-to-end delivery of all campaigns, both for domestic seasonal holidays and events, and global initiatives.
  • Manage special campaigns such as SHOP Week, Masterpass promotions, Extra CB, Expedited Shipping, and others as required.
  • Develop creative content for all marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise and coordinate with various teams for effective promotion of campaigns.
  • Maintain professional relationships with external vendors such as Masterpass, Sezzle, FNBO, and others.
  • Collaborate with the branding/interactive team to ensure consistency and creativity in campaign visuals.
  • Work hand in hand with the analyst team to track, monitor, and report on the performance of various marketing campaigns.
  • Develop global marketing strategies and lead international campaigns.
  • Collaborate with designers on website branding and style guides.
  • Oversee management of long-term projects and marketing-driven demands.
  • Plan and manage projects necessary for strategic planning and events.
  • Undertake any special projects assigned to the marketing team.
  • Design high-quality presentations for key stakeholders.
  • Oversee management of Marketing team's Sharepoint folder (with all the projects).
  • Contribute creative perspectives to other marketing projects like product launches, rebranding initiatives, and more.
  • Execute and manage all marketing projects using project management software effectively.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None, but may direct the work of others

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree in Business, E-Commerce, Marketing, or related field, Bachelors degree preferred.
  • At least 3 to five (5) years of experience in digital communications management
  • Experience should include email marketing disciplines and processes, email campaigns with major brands, email content and filtering, and/or project management
  • Hands-on experience working with various digital communication platforms and tools such as marketing automation software, SMS providers, and push notification services
  • Experience in email automation software like Maropost, Mandrill or similar tools
  • Experience in SMS automation software like Twilio or similar
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of digital communication platforms and tools
  • Demonstrable experience in developing multi-channel communication campaigns and automation
  • Demonstrated creative, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, customer service, social media or related industry experience.

Computer and Communication Skills:

  • Prior experience in Digital Marketing or a related field.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Project Management tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Strong vendor management skills.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold hot/humid)
  • Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets
  • Regularly required to talk, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop kneel and crouch
  • Raise and lower an object from one level to the another, less than twenty (20) pounds.
  • Visual acuity must be a minimum or 20/40 (corrected) and normal hand/eye coordination
  • Normal or corrected hearing
  • Must be able to perform in an office environment where ninety (90) percent of work is performed sitting.
  • Occasional long or irregular hours of work
