HR Manager

Location: Monterey, CA

Market Americ/Shop.com is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support our Monterey CA office with all recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and other essential HR related functions.


What are the day to day responsibilities?

•Recruits, screens and interviews internal or external candidates to successfully place qualified individuals.

•Conducts new employee orientation to ensure effective on-boarding process.

•Interprets various routine HR plans, programs, policies, and procedures to ensure clarity for employees.

•Resolves routine employee problems or issues related to traditional employee relations matters.

•Acts as a resource for various basic HR special projects within or across business units or with corporate HR to ensure and improve best practices.

•Maintains confidential employee data or files and prepares related reports to identify trends and resolutions.


What are the essential skills to be successful in this role?

•Experience in IT recruiting

•Knowledge of federal and state employment and labor regulations

•Previous experience of employee relations, orientation, compensation, and benefits.


Additional Requirements for the role?

•Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, or related field.

•Three to Five years of experience in a sole HR Manager role with multiple HR responsibilities

•Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
